The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, is an upcoming romantic-fantasy movie set to be released on 30th June. Eclipse follows Stephanie Meyer’s Twilight and New Moon films. Eclipse will star Kirsten Stewart (Bella Swan), Robert Pattison (Edward Cullen) and Taylor Lautner (Jacob Black).
A Lead-up to Eclipse
Esabella Swan, played by Kristen Stewart, is a girl that doesn’t seem to fit in society. Bella moved from Phoenix to live with her father in Washington. Adjusting to being in a new a school, Bella meets a young boy, named Edward Cullen (Robert Pattison). In the beginning Edward is horrible to Bella, but eventually the two become friends.
In the second sequel of New Moon, Edward thinks it is in the best interest to leave, so Bella remains unharmed. Later on, Edward tries to commit suicide by revealing vampires to the world, for which he will be executed by the Volturi clan. Bella stops Edward and the storyline ends where Bella asks to be converted into a vampire. Edward agrees to Bella’s request, if Bella agrees to marry the vampire.
Twilight Eclipse: The Plot Thickens
Twilight Eclipse takes off as Bella faces the idea of becoming a vampire and leaving the family behind. One by one as Bella’s family and friends grow old, Bella will remain the same.
Seattle is ravaged by various killings and a wicked vampire seeks revenge on Bella. Once again, Bella is in the middle of dangerous situations. Bella is pushed to choose between love (Edward) or friendship (Jacob). The decision, even though very hard, has the potential to ignite the ongoing feud between vampires and werewolves.
Twilight Eclipse: Lead and Supporting Roles
- Kirsten Stewart (Bella Swan): Surrounded by danger and targeted by a vampire known as Victoria. Bella ultimately has to choose between love or death.
- Robert Pattinson (Edward Cullen): A vampire that can read minds. Also known as Bella’s vampire boyfriend.
- Taylor Lautner (Jacob Black): A werewolf who tries to prove an undying love for Bella.
- Ashley Greene (Alice Cullen): A member of the Cullen family who can foresee the future and is close friends with Bella.
- Peter Facinelli (Carlisle Cullen): A vampire who acts as a father figure to the Cullen family. Carlisle created the Cullen family.
- Elizabeth Reaser (Esme Cullen): Acts as motherly figure to the Cullen family.
- Kellan Lutz (Emmett Cullen): A funny vampire, also the strongest in the Cullen family.
- Nikki Reed (Rosalie Hale): A pretty member of the Cullen family.
- Jackson Rathbone (Jasper Hale): Member of the Cullen family who trains newborn vampires and controls emotions.
- Billy Barte (Charlie Swan): Known as Bella’s dad and also the Chief of Police.
- Bryce Howard (Victoria): A vampire rival who seeks revenge on Bella.
Considered to be one of the most anticipated movies of 2010, Eclipse will definitely be filled with unexpected twists and turns. Twilight Saga fans will embark on a journey through the ups and downs of the film. Be part of an epic adventure that will take the world by storm.
